Nearly two weeks spent travelling to various places in France and Belgium. Met up with members of the City of Exeter Pipes and Drums half way through, to take part in a Remembrance weekend at the Menin Gate and other venues.

Last real family holiday with Steven before he too flew the nest like Peter. Switzerland is a wonderful place and we really had the best time ever. Great fun!

Inside the WW-I museum in Ypres. Visited this in 2007 while on holiday and joining in with others from the City of Exeter Pipes and Drums, when we were there to join in the inauguration of the new Scottish Memorial.

We attended this because Colin was asked to pipe in memory of Piper Bill Millin (D-Day fame), who died days before this event was to take place. Great to see the Red Arrows and the other Air Displays in such fine fettle.
